Wool Mohair Suit
Sometimes the most simple commissions are the ones that end up being the most challenging.
An Architect client who is used to precision and detail asks for a simple dark navy suit. As somebody working in a creative industry his suit-wearing is by choice or chance rather than out of necessity and the garment needs to reflect that.
We chose a Vitale Barberis Dark Navy Wool Mohair for this garment. The tight weave means minimal crushing yet the garment has a relaxed and contemporary feel about it. The soft shoulder profile adds to this.
Made in our house style, the proportion, and detail is minimal and uncluttered. A handmade Milanese Buttonhole and pic stitch are both functional as well as being a nice example of teh hand finishing on all our garments.
