Top Shop
Todays official announcement in the New Zealand Herald that Top Shop will open at the end of the year is great for the Auckland retail scene.
The consortium of partners involved is impressive. Having worked with many of them over the last 15 years I know they will do a good job and wish them luck.
There will be some retailers concerned by this inevitable influx of large international brands but this is the retail game we play and by now they should have either adapted or be prepared to die.
I am pleased to see another large international brand choosing the Auckland CBD as their home.
The City may wax and wane but it is always going to work for Retail.
