The Slap
I am really enjoying The Slap on TV3 at present.
Based on the best selling novel of the same name, that I haven't read, it should act as the perfect deterrent for Family Barbecues, Child Abuse and Alcoholism. Dealing with issues as diverse as breast feeding, abortion and over bearing matriarchs.
Watching one of the main characters indiscretions with his 17-year-old babysitter is like watching a train wreck unfold before your eyes.
Fascinating social commentary.
