On Key
I normally try and avoid talking about politics on my Dispatch but was intrigued by last nights piece with John Key on Campbell Live.
I have never really had a firm opinion on Key but one thing that struck me last night was that he seemed genuine.
He is obviously living a fairly privileged existence holidaying in the rarified air of Omaha Beach and shopping at Matakana Markets.
However he seems comfortable with it and is not trying to play it down or hide it. Unlike some other politicians.
He isn't embarrased by his own success and I think that is a big part of his success as a leader.
