Google Maps
If you are a frequent traveller you'll know that one of the quickest ways to get a data usage warning on your phone ( as well as killing your battery ) is using Maps.
Google has just rolled out a series of significant updates for mobile devices, available to both iOS and Android users, which brings several interesting features.
The ability to save maps offline in order to access them later without needing an Internet connection is a fantastic update.
If you’re a regular Uber user, the other feature of the update is that from now on, when you check in, Uber will appear as an additional travel option with an estimated time as long as you have the Uber app installed on your device.
Uber have recently launched in Auckland.
