My Art Friend and I went and saw Gone Girl this week. She had read the book, I hadn't.
I recognised Neil Patrick Harris and Emily Ratajkowski; she didn't.
I had an ice cream, she frowned.
Modern relationships are complicated, that much is true and this story somehow taps that vein perfectly and disturbingly.
Go and see it, you'll feel better about those little things.
