Bluff Oysters

I have distinct childhood memories of my father receiving a coal sack of Bluff Oysters to shuck. Served raw they were an acquired taste but deep fried they were sweeter than a Moro bar that had received the same culinary treatment. 

These days the delicacies are sold separately and the season is upon us.
