Switch / Board / Room
Switch / Board / Room is a new exhibition of unique collages and paintings by Gavin Hurley.
The works feature gatherings of men, collectively concentrating upon the switches, dials and readings of large clunky computers, listening attentively hunched around board room tables or leaning casually back on office chairs.
Spectacles, waistcoats, linen and ties - measuring instruments, pencils and paper.
Attention and concern, labour and endeavour.
Starts July 30 at Melanie Roger Gallery.
