After a solid year of product development with our Italian atelier we are pleased to announce our new Standard program; initially consisting of a blazer and trouser it has been designed (and is available) as separate pieces that can be married into a casual suit if you so choose.
Every aspect has been developed with ease and utility in mind, ensuring you get the most out of these garments. The jacket shape is pared completely back to its most basic form. Leaving it soft, unconstructed and eminently wearable. We have finished it with a generous patch pocket for discrete internal storage. For the trouser, we’ve kept the shape trim, tailored and unfussy. It features side-entry pockets, belt loops, back pockets on the seat and a coin pouch on the waistband.
For the first iteration we wanted the cloth to be something that could stand up to some meaningful wear. We’ve selected a gutsy cotton canvas in subtle shades of pure navy, olive green, dusty cream and cocoa brown. It’s hard-wearing, tough as nails and damnably comfortable, with enough weight to see you through the cool months and still be feasible for a high-summer evening.
A finer cloth can be hard to dress down but this can be slipped on over a cotton sweatshirt, or teamed with the heftiest selvedge denim without missing a beat. It also feels just at home with a t-shirt and a pair of sneakers or with a smart shirt and loafers.
The result feels ideal for the moment - a high-style, low-maintenance jacket and trouser specifically designed to be worn at the more casual end of the spectrum, allowing you the opportunity to feel a little bit smarter without ever having to think about it.

So it is with the pea coat, a contemporary menswear staple that still manages to look peerlessly stylish despite being almost entirely unchanged since the early 1700s. Featuring a double-breasted six- or eight-button closure, an a-line shape finishing just...
