Pro Gear
I had one of those disappointing experiences at Christmas.
A Camera I bought for my son decided it was the black sheep in the batch and didn't want to work. It turned out it was terminal.
Unfortunately I had bought the camera in Australia, partly due to time constraints and generally underestimating its availability on NZ. It was a popular model and I was worried it would sell out. All this meant that I had very little recourse here and with the suppliers website down and the local distributor closed for Christmas my options seemed about as slim as my sons patience was becoming.
That was until I called the guys at Pro Gear in Newmarket Auckland. I don't spend a lot of time in Camera stores but I recognise great service when I see it and these guys surpassed every expectation I could possibly have.
They were informative and obliging and seem to have a fantastic range of gear including my favourite Leica.
If you need anything to do with Cameras I would thoroughly recommend you use these guys as the retail experience was outstanding.
