Noah's Hotel
Exciting news is coming out of Christchurch with a major announcement about the future of Noah's Hotel. Plans have been revealed for extensive renovations, which will include an expansion of the building, the addition of outdoor dining areas, and the creation of the city’s highest rooftop bar.
The 14-story Oxford Terrace hotel, located next to our Christchurch store, has been closed since the earthquakes and subsequent lengthy insurance negotiations. Originally built in the early 1970s, the hotel is owned by Emmons Developments and will now undergo a redevelopment project valued between $80 million and $100 million. This project is a joint venture between Auckland’s Russell Property Group and Canterbury’s Mainland Capital.
The newly revamped hotel is expected to open its doors in late 2026.
