Christchurch 1: High Street Stories
Before I lived in Auckland and worked in High Street I lived in Christchurch and worked ( and lived ) on High Street.
The area was destroyed by the Earthquake and lies virtually empty.
Now there is a great new initative and website to remember and profile the area and the people who lived and worked in it.
Some worked on their backs whilst others worked to put clothes on them, its a great idea and the stories are well worth a read and a listen.
