Caring for Mother of Pearl
A number of our garments have Shell or Mother of pearl buttons. These are well known for their iridescent shimmer from mollusc shell linings. They require careful handling during cleaning. It's crucial to alert your dry cleaner about these fragile buttons. To safeguard them, you can either cover them with protective fabric, encase them in heavy-duty foil, or preferably, remove and reattach post-cleaning – especially for already damaged buttons. Proper care ensures these elegant buttons enhance your garments for a long time.
