Canopy Tours

Rotorua Canopy Tours have been operating for 6 years. When they started the goal of the operation was to create one of the most engaging and exciting zip line tours in the world. 

That objective has been achieved with an exhilarating course through some of New Zealand's most virgin forest.

There is a strong focus on the ecosystem and its conservation.

Being perched nearly 50 metres high in a 1000 year old Rimu is a special experience, jumping out into mid air secured by a small piece of metal and traversing 220 metres along a zip line is equally as exciting.

The operation is very well run; our guides were fantastic and engaging.

We took our two youngest kids (9 and 12) and although mildly worried at the start they were having a great time and I am sure it is an experience they will never forget.
