Why You Need A Hopsack Blazer
With its distinctive basket weave pattern Hopsack cloth makes the perfect candidate as the most versatile blazer cloth choice for casual and formal wardrobes alike. The milling process creates a looser, more open weave allowing for breathability and making it wrinkle resistant with a texture that has little to no sheen.
Given its versatility and proven crease resistance, it is ideal for everyday wear. Common types of hopsack include wool and blends such as wool and cotton creating jackets, which are easily paired with a variety of trouser, knitwear and shirting options.
Our recommendation on colour options is dark and solid: navy and black are both classic enough that they can be worn perennially as part of any outfit. Dress the jacket down with a light or dark denim and chukka boots or pair it with a woollen dress trouser and loafers for a sharper look.
We carry an assortment of hopsack materials from all our core suppliers for Made-to-Measure as well as Ready to Wear options available to purchase immediately.
