Industry Dinner
by Murray Crane
This week, in partnership with our friends at Together Journal, we hosted our annual gathering - a tradition now in its third year. It's a special occasion where we connect with fellow designers and creatives in our wedding community.
The idea for this event originally stemmed from the fact that we often collaborate closely with wedding vendors without ever meeting face-to-face. Over time, we've had the pleasure of building lasting relationships with both seasoned and emerging designers, and this has now extended to makeup artists, venues, photographers, and planners.
For me as a designer, it’s always inspiring to hear what others are working on. These conversations push us to elevate our craft, which ultimately leads to happier clients—brides and grooms alike.
This year, we kicked off the evening with drinks at our newly renovated High Street store, followed by a wonderful dinner at Gilt, and ended the night with a drink at Panacea Bar—both of which are part of our High Street community.
