Rolex Submariner - James Bond
Webbs have a couple of very rare Rolex Watches in their upcoming auction.
For me the pick of the collection is the Model 5508. This was often referred to as the James Bond.
A Stainless steel Rolex Oyster Submariner dating from the second quarter of 1958.
The 5508 was one of the last of the “thin case” James Bond Submariners and also the last Submariner rated to only 100 meters.
With it's glossy black dial and patina this is a serious collectable and should sell beyond its $25 000.00 estimate.
