Old Clare Hotel
Like many of you I am a regular visitor to Sydney and I am always on the look out for new places to eat and drink.
It isn't often that this includes a new place to stay.
The Old Clare Hotel has recently opened in Chippendale Sydney.
Chippendale is becoming home to an array of art galleries, production houses, graphic and fashion design studios, plus many of Sydney’s most exciting new restaurants, cafés and bars.
There are 3 within the hotel complex including Silvereye steered by ex NOMA chef Sam Miller.
Spanning two heritage-listed buildings – The Clare Hotel Pub and the Carlton & United Breweries Administration Building – this 62 room boutique hotel is a contemporary design yet still respects the history of both buildings.
They have also thrown in a roof-top pool for good measure.
