Matt Ellwood - Frieze Saint Laurent
Matt Elwood has a new exhibition of drawings starting next week at my Art Friends Gallery.
A year in the making, the exhibition "Frieze Saint Laurent" includes a suite of eight charcoal drawings of subject matter taken from eight editions of art-world staple ‘Frieze’ magazine.
Elwood wields a pencil adeptly and "draws" inspiration from all aspects of Popular Culture.
His previous shows have included references as diverse as Tom Ford to the Marlboro Man.
