Little Brother
It has been fun seeing Isaac Hindin Miller this week and dealing with all his nervous energy and enthusiasm over the new little brother collection.
The pieces look good, commercial, well priced, on trend and easy to wear: Just what you would hope for a collection selling in an environment like Barkers who continue to stock and represent the range exclusively in New Zealand.
Their newly refurbished High Street store is testament to how hard they are working to continue on their quest of being a credible and accessible fashion brand.
My involvement these days is limited as Isaac takes over creative direction of the brand.
I just get older, grumpier and more nostalgic by the day, sit in meetings and demand loose-leaf tea, doodle in my moleskine and have the odd pearl of wisdom.
That's why I no longer design tee shirts and chinos for generation whatever we are up to.
