Jaguar Heritage Driving
I was lucky enough to be hosted by Jaguar at their new facility at their 200-acre testing facility in Fen End, Warwickshire at the weekend on my London stop over.
Jaguar purchased the James Hull collection of cars for an estimated 100 million pounds and by doing so have amassed one of the most impressive collections of rare British heritage vehicles. Some parts have been sold off to allow the Jaguar collection to stay intact.
The Jaguar Heritage Driving experience allows these cars to be driven as well as brand new vehicles. I drove the E-Type and the new F-TYPE.
I was hosted by Mike Wilds, one of the United Kingdoms most experienced racing drivers; many of the cars were originally raced by him in the sixties and seventies.
The weather was terrible, but it didn't dampen a fantastic experience.
