Goodyear Welted Restoration Service
Buying English made shoes is an investment.
One of the benefits to owning a pair of Goodyear Welted shoes is that they can be repaired over and over again. Most Goodyear Welted shoes are handmade in Northampton England.
Attards are a UK based company who can repair your leather soles using vegetable tanned soles from Italy and UK and Oak Bark soles from Germany and UK.
Oak Bark soles are the highest quality sole; used by the likes of Bespoke Shoemaker John Lobb, Edward Green and Cheaney.
They also fit shoes with the very popular and famous Dainite and Commando Soles as well as a full restoration of American brands like Red Wing and Alden.
Another service they offer that I have struggled to find here is fitting Flush fitted toe plates. A smart and practical addition.
