Clematis Ginza Trunk Show
Next month specialist artisanal shoemaker Keitaro Takano will return to our Crane Brothers High Street boutique, joined by apprentice Chiemi Chiba to offer an insight into the world of bespoke footwear.
Taking up to 10 months to create one pair of shoes, Keitaro hand makes, sews and welts approximately 60 pairs of shoes a year using European leathers, from his studio in Tokyo’s Ginza district.
Distinct in character, details include sweeping curves of stitches and leaf shaped rubber inserts on the soles, Keitaro’s shoes showcase his unique and unsurpassed level of craftsmanship.
With a focus on luxury, this trunk show provides a unique opportunity to experience the bespoke footwear services offered by an international master maker.
A range of products and services will be made available exclusively through Crane Brothers.
From made to order, through to a full bespoke service via a series of fittings over a 6-month period. Prices start from $1295 NZD.
We have appointment times available Thursday 15th and Friday 16th of September.
email: murray@crane-brothers.com for more details.
