Succession Plan
All businesses should have a strong succession plan, I believe that it is an important part of the strategy.
As a father who spends a disproportionate amount of time away from my children at work I think that it is important that they know the essence of the business and understand what " makes it tick".
My daughter Arabella has just started working regularly at weekends in our workroom and my son Monty has never really known a time when I wasn't at work in some shape or form.
The video I have posted is of him when he was 2 years old ( a decade ago now) and was taken after I had got home after a particularly challenging day.
He has given me permission to post it, unlike the countless other ones he is continually ordering me to delete and remove from the many forms of social media I use.
It serves as a reminder to me of how important your kids are and how they can make the most difficult things seem trivial.
