Locavores
One of Locavores goals is to reconnect producers and consumers.
They do this by producing a Field Guide to New South Wales Produce that catalogues over 400 family farms, 10 food trails and a bounty of specialty producers.
Broken down by region and with notes and insights from leading chefs it is a great initiative.
There are similar guides for Victoria and Tasmania; we should all be pushing for a New Zealand version.
