For Petes Sake
Since its inception in 1966 Peter McLeavey, the eponymous Gallery has presented over 500 shows showcasing, nurturing and blooding all the great New Zealand modernists, including Colin McCahon, Gordon Walters, Toss Woollaston and Milan Mrkusich.
Next month Wellingtons City Gallery commences an exhibition featuring works addressing the man and his gallery from McCahon, Julian Dashper, Michael Illingworth, Billy Apple, L. Budd and John Reynolds.
