We check in with our eternally stylish Senior Client Advisor Chris Vovan about how he's been traversing the current lockdown.
Essential Item: The easy appeal of a Prince of Wales check jacket in a soft, warmer tone is hard to go past, adding essential polish to a cotton trouser in anything from warm white, to khaki and midnight navy. I opt for a good, robust Oxford shirt in either white or pale blue to sit beneath this blazer, and a suede loafer in black, toffee brown or olive.
Best Read: The History of Ideas podcast. Although not technically a 'read', this podcast series is a frequent go-to for me. My close friends and colleagues all know I spend next-to-no-time following the news. The discussions between David Runcimun and his podcast guests give me a broad insight into the world we live in.
Best Watch: I'm currently absorbed in re-watching Daniel Craig's James Bond portrayals, in fervent anticipation of No Time To Die being released.
Favourite Outdoor Pursuit: Walking the Mercer Bay Loop or the Te Henga walks out on the west coast, followed by a cooling plunge in either Kitekite or Karekare Falls. So close at hand, visited regularly and breathtaking every single time.
Essential Meal: Roast chicken with rice pilaf and a crisp bowl of mixed leafy greens. Very different from the classic roast dinner I grew up knowing. Can I add an essential snack? The lemon and vermouth cake at Annabel's on Ponsonby Road...
What You're Most Excited For: Seeing our mostly edible garden flourish as the days heat up, eagerly waiting to see how it all unfolds. And a more even balance of time spent in the workplace and the home!
