A female amputee who slipped on a greasy chip outside a Big W store in New South Wales has won a High Court battle for compensation from Woolworths.
She will now be awarded in excess of $1 000 000.00 once her court costs are included.
Apparently she is over the moon as she had resigned herself to living on a shoestring budget and her lawyer had told her that in when in court she wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
