At Crane Brothers, we believe that putting on a suit should feel as good as it looks.
Our house tailoring style reflects the part of the world that we come from - beautiful and timeless, whilst feeling utterly relaxed to the wearer.
Our tailoring is made in Italy, and merges soft and lightweight Italian construction with a distinctly Antipodean aesthetic sensibility.
We make contemporary tailoring that is exquisitely constructed, looks elegant and feels exceptionally comfortable.
From consultation to finished garment, we like to make the made-to-measure process simple and straightforward.
It begins with a consultation, during which we spend some time understanding your requirements and building a fit profile from a comprehensive set of measurements.
Construction takes approximately 25 working days, after which we will see you again for one or more further fittings for any additional fine-tuning before finishing the garment. During busy periods, such as the summer wedding season, construction times can take a little longer. If you have important dates coming up, get in touch and let us know as early as you can.
All Crane Brothers stores have senior made-to-measure specialists with over ten years of experience, who will walk you through the entire process step-by-step.
In addition to our normal store hours, we also work on a by-appointment basis. Click here to contact your local atelier if you would like to book or make an enquiry.
A good pair of jeans is one of the most important - and most worn - items in a man’s wardrobe, which is why we believe that their fit, cut and construction should be treated with the same reverence as fine tailoring.
We offer a full made-to-measure programme, with access to hand-picked denim from some of the world’s most famous mills, including Caniani Italy, Kuroki Japan and America’s historic White Oak Mill.

Our shirts are made in our Italian workroom, and feature luxurious finishing, including single needle seaming, 22 stitches to the inch, canvassed collars and rich Australian mother-of-pearl buttons.
Our custom-made footwear programme offers the opportunity to have your ideal pair of shoes made, giving you the chance to select your style, leather and finish - as well as ensuring the perfect fit.

A truly versatile trouser, the chino is a reliable wardrobe staple, and having a pair that fits perfectly is essential. Our made-to-measure chino programme offers a selection of traditional garment-dyed colours, as well as a selection of stretch twills, corduroys and moleskins.
We offer a large number of customisable features, from pocket shape and lining to pleats, hem finishing (including cuffs), buttons, thread colour and monogramming.
One of the biggest pleasures when purchasing a Made to Measure suit is choosing the lining. We use and recommend Bemberg Linings for their superior comfort.
Bemberg is a high-quality brand of cupro produced in Japan. Made from Cotton, it is light and durable with a silky touch.
Bemberg is also anti-static and anti-cling for added comfort. The advantage over a synthetic fibre is that it wicks sweat and humidity away from the body. Natural material means that this biodegradable fabric is produced from a renewable resource.
The Tiber Suit is in our signature house style. Twenty years of experience have gone into choosing the perfect shade of blue. If you only have one suit, this should be it.
Originating from Kashmir in the 14th Century and favoured by rock royalty and proper royalty, Velvet is never really in or out of fashion.
Wear it how you want; beat it up or handle it with kid gloves; you'll always make a statement.
Quality is what makes Loro Piana special and unique.
