Jaguar D Type image

A rare Jaguar D-Type ( the seventh ever made) is under the hammer in Paris this month.

The car has a rich history and a connection to Australasia having raced and won Bathurst in 1956.

Undeniably one of the most beautiful Jaguars ever designed with its hand-built British Racing green chassis and iconic long nose this model has an impeccably maintained interior with green leather seats and an original wooden steering wheel, vintage dash and dials.

The 1955 Jaguar D-Type is set to be auctioned at RM Sotheby’s in Paris on February 5 and is expected to sell for between €5,900,000 and €6,400,000.

Wearing Denim with Tailoring

Denim is an affordable and durable cloth that can work in a myriad of ways. When it is well selected and worn in the right way it adds an extra dimension to any man’s wardrobe.

1917

I have always been a sucker for a World War genre film. I love a man in uniform (for purely sartorial reasons), it could be The Great Escape, Dunkirk or Guns of Navarone. I have seen them all countless times.
